support all year long.

Round 1

1. Miami Dolphins - OT Jake Long (Michigan)
Woo-hoo. I can't screw this pick up. Look everybody, I am perfect so far.

2. St. Louis Rams - DT Glenn Dorsey (LSU)
Front office always trumps coaches and they want Dorsey. Coaches want DE Chris Long.

3. Atlanta Falcons - QB Matt Ryan (Boston College)
We have not had Ryan this high now for some time. Our reasoning is that we believe that Atlanta will go after
a flawless personality, character-wise, since their top target Glenn Dorsey is off the board. The new era
begins in Atlanta with "Matty Franchise." Also, we would like to let it be known that we would not condone
Atlanta taking Ryan this high as we think he is not worthy of being taken this high. Let it be said.

4. Oakland Raiders - DE Chris Long (Virginia)
Since our gut instinct is going against our sources, we will stick to our sources. The Howie Long legacy in
Oakland is revisited with his son. Don't expect Chris Long to wear the Howie-do though.

5. Kansas City Chiefs - DE Vernon Gholston (Ohio State)
They lost DE Jared Allen in the recent blockbuster trade so filling his void here is the smartest value pick.

6. New York Jets - RB Darren McFadden (Arkansas)
They want him so bad that they are willing to trade up for him. They will not have to in this scenario.

7. New England Patriots (from San Francisco) - OG Branden Albert (Virginia)
We are sold on the Patriots landing Albert here at seventh overall.

8. Baltimore Ravens - CB Leodis McKelvin (Troy State)
Baltimore gets to lock up their second biggest need with the self acclaimed next Devin Hester.

9. Cincinnati Bengals - DT Sedrick Ellis (USC)
Somehow, some way, the Bengals get the guy they need the most.

10. New Orleans Saints - OLB Keith Rivers (USC)
In the event that they can not trade up for Glenn Dorsey or Sedrick Ellis, adding Rivers strengthens their
linebacker tremendously. A cornerback is plausible here too.

11. Buffalo Bills - CB Dominique Rodgers-Cromartie (Tennessee State)
We have been continuously told that Rodgers-Cromartie is their number one prospect after the recent swan
dive by WR Malcolm Kelly. It makes sense.

12. Denver Broncos - OT Ryan Clady (Boise State)
Denver could for Devin Thomas here but they are able to snag Clady away from Carolina despite having a
good amount of faith in current OTs Ryan Harris and Chris Kuper.

13. Carolina Panthers - DE Derrick Harvey (Florida)
They are secretly admiring Harvey. After next season, expect to see an ugly contract dispute between DE
Julius Peppers and the organization. Add to that the fact that the Panthers can't stay healthy upfront and were
tied for dead last in the league in sacks a year ago.

14. Chicago Bears - OT Chris Williams (Vanderbilt)
Chicago is pursuing a left tackle and they get one here. RB Rashard Mendenhall is a no-go.

15. Detroit Lions - MLB Jerod Mayo (Tennessee)
HC Rod Marinelli wants a Cover-2 MLB and Mayo fits that mold.

16. Arizona Cardinals - RB Rashard Mendenhall (Illinois)
Farewell Edgerrin James. Good pick despite needing a CB and OT greatly.

17. Kansas City Chiefs (from Minnesota) - OT Jeff Otah (Pittsburgh)
The Chiefs address their biggest need with a hog upfront.

18. Houston Texans - S Kenny Phillips (Miami Fl.)
This is the safe pick for a franchise that boasts the best group of young defenders on the defensive line and
in the linebacking corps. All they need is an added boost in the secondary and the Texans are on their way
defensively. CB Jacques Reeves was given a lofty contract.

19. Philadelphia Eagles - CB Aqib Talib (Kansas)
Word is that the Eagles are willing to take the best player available, or trade down. This makes us say "wow"
but according to one source, it is a very likely situation, even if the Eagles trade down.

20. Tampa Bay Buccaneers - CB Mike Jenkins (South Florida)
Tampa Bay gets the guy they covet most. He is used to their field too, playing there on Saturday's.

21. Washington Redskins - WR Devin Thomas (Michigan State)
At 6'2", Washington finally gets a viable threat above 5'11".

22. Dallas Cowboys (from Cleveland) - RB Felix Jones (Arkansas)
The top cornerbacks are off of the board so finding a compliment to Marion Barber is likely. A wide receiver
is possible but unlikely because Dallas wants a veteran WR. They will likely pursue a WR later in the draft.

23. Pittsburgh Steelers - DE Phillip Merling (Clemson)
Merling is a bit underrated but would add youth to the Steelers front line, as well as a physical presence
needed due to the ripening of Pittsburgh's current starters at DE.

24. Tennessee Titans - WR Limas Sweed (Texas)
QB Vince Young is familiar with Sweed, making this an ideal choice with the top DEs off the board.

25. Seattle Seahawks - WR DeSean Jackson (California)
Seattle reloads their offense with a speedy route runner that needs to bulk up.

26. Jacksonville Jaguars - DT Kentwan Balmer (North Carolina)
Losing Marcus Stroud doesn't really hurt because he was always hurt. Enter his replacement.

27. San Diego Chargers - CB Brandon Flowers (Virginia Tech)
Drafting the guy the covet makes sense but trading down makes even more sense.

28. Dallas Cowboys - ILB Dan Connor (Penn State)
Surprise, surprise. It is obvious that Dallas has several holes. They traded for Adam "Pac-Man" Jones, as
well as brought in ILB Zach Thomas to push ILB Akin Ayodele. Neither of those ILB's are suited to be full-time
starters so bringing in Dan Connor will only bolster this defense and take them to a whole other level. Bradie
James, DeMarcus Ware, Greg Ellis, and Dan Connor. Now that is scary.

29. San Francisco 49ers (from Indianapolis) - DE Quentin Groves (Auburn)
San Francisco coaches were up his you know what all off-season long.

30. Green Bay Packers - OT Gosder Cherilus (Boston College)
They go with the best player available as current RT Mark Tauscher is an overachiever and the only depth
behind him is Tony Moll.

New England Patriots pick forfeited.

31. New York Giants - CB Antoine Cason (Arizona)
This wraps up a need for the G-Men plus gives us five cornerbacks drafted in the first round. According to
this, no more than five cornerbacks have ever been drafted in the first round since at least 1984.

Round 2

32. Miami Dolphins - QB Chad Henne (Michigan)
This only makes sense for a team whose current QBs are Josh McCown, John Beck, Casey Bramlet, and
Matt Baker. No, this is not the Amsterdam NFL Europe team, this is the famed Miami Dolphins.

33. St. Louis Rams - OT Sam Baker (USC)
Insurance for the injury-riddled protection unit for QB Marc Bulger & Company.

34. Atlanta Falcons (from Oakland) - DE Calais Campbell (Miami, Fl.)
HC Mike Smith loves big defenders. At 6'8", this former Hurricanes fits the mold.

35. Kansas City Chiefs - CB Justin King (Penn State)
If the season started today, CB Tyron Brackenridge would be starting for Kansas City. Seriously.

36. New York Jets - WR James Hardy (Indiana)
Overhauling the offense will continue as they want to give young QB Kellen Clemens all the weapons in the
world (well, sorta).

37. Atlanta Falcons - S Tyrell Johnson (Arkansas State)
Atlanta is said to covet this small school star. Johnson reeled in 6 interceptions in 2007.

38. Baltimore Ravens - QB Brian Brohm (Louisville)
A QB isn't truly necessary for Baltimore but he gives Kyle Boller and Troy Smith some competition.

39. San Francisco 49ers - ILB Curtis Lofton (Oklahoma)
Replacement for Brandon Moore on the inside next to last year's rookie of the year Patrick Willis.

40. New Orleans Saints - DT Trevor Laws (Notre Dame)
If they can't move up in round one to snag a DT, look for them to take one here.

41. Buffalo Bills - WR Malcolm Kelly (Oklahoma)
Buffalo spent too much manpower and resource money on Malcolm Kelly. They will not pass him up twice.

42. Denver Broncos - WR Mario Manningham (Michigan)
Another surprise pick but Manningham is rather fast on the football field despite his slow forty.

43. Carolina Panthers - RB Jonathan Stewart (Oregon)
Stewart takes a LenDale White like tumble, watch.

44. Chicago Bears - QB Joe Flacco (Delaware)
  They lock up their QB.

45. Detroit Lions - DE Lawrence Jackson (USC)
Once again, the Lions focus on defense.

46. Cincinnati Bengals - WR Jordy Nelson (Kansas State)
This may be a reach but Cincinnati will go out of there way to draft a high-character WR.

47. Minnesota Vikings - S DaJuan Morgan (N.C. State)
Their only pick in the first three rounds is a good one.

48. Atlanta Falcons (from Houston) - OLB Erin Henderson (Maryland)
Henderson can play all four linebacker spots in a 3-4 scheme.

49. Philadelphia Eagles - RB Ray Rice (Rutgers)
With eleven draft picks, the Eagles will surely use one on a suitable RB that can give RB Brian Westbrook
some rest from time to time. No, Tony Hunt doesn't count because he will be likely to survive training camp if
he hasn't learned how to block better, or like he did when he was at Happy Valley.

50. Arizona Cardinals - CB Tracy Porter (Indiana)
With this pick, the Cardinals can slide Antrel Rolle to safety.

51. Washington Redskins - DB Reggie Smith (Oklahoma)
Not very shifty but with some anticipated moves looming for the 'Skins' secondary, this makes sense.

52. Tampa Bay Buccaneers - WR Eddie Royal (Virginia Tech)
Royal can play as a wide receiver and return specialist. His stock has been soaring recently.

53. Pittsburgh Steelers - OLB Cliff Avril (Purdue)
To the surprise of many, Pittsburgh grabs their second pass rusher in as many picks. This former
Boilermaker is a perfect fit for the 3-4 scheme.

54. Tennessee Titans - RB Jamaal Charles (Texas)
The Tennessee Longhorns, oops, I mean Titans bring in a compliment to LenDale White.

55. Seattle Seahawks - TE Dustin Keller (Purdue)
It is a shame that he is still available but TEs have a tendency to slide.

56. Green Bay Packers (from Cleveland) - CB Tyvon Branch (Connecticut)
Young prospect that will need to grow some more but will fall into perfect situation with Al Harris and
Charles Woodson in front of him.

57. Miami Dolphins (from San Diego) - OLB Tavares Gooden (Miami Fl.)
The 'Phins stay close to home as they begin to rebuild their linebacker corps with some pricey free agents
and this former Hurricane.

58. Jacksonville Jaguars - DE Chris Ellis (Virginia Tech)
Ellis is a bigger and quicker defensive end that has not garnished the proper respect.

59. Indianapolis Colts - RB Chris Johnson (East Carolina)
Multi-purpose threat with Brian Westbrook-like upside. Used to be a WR for the Pirates.

60. Green Bay Packers - OLB Marcus Howard (Georgia)
Solid prospect with tons of upside. No linebacker has a better burst than Howard.

61. Dallas Cowboys - WR Early Doucet (LSU)
With Doucet still hanging around expect Dallas to snag him off the board.

62. New England Patriots - CB Patrick Lee (Auburn)
Typical best player available pick. Lee can come in and replace Randall Gay.

63. New York Giants - OT Carl Nicks (Nebraska)
Off the field issues may cause him to slide.

Round 3

64. Miami Dolphins - DE Brian Johnston (Gardner-Webb)

65. St. Louis Rams - WR Andre Caldwell (Florida)

66. Kansas City Chiefs - OG Mike McGlynn (Pittsburgh)

67. Carolina Panthers (from NY Jets) - DT Marcus Harrison (Arkansas)

68. Atlanta Falcons - OT Anthony Collins (Kansas)

69. New England Patriots (from Oakland) - TE John Carlson (Notre Dame)

70. Chicago Bears (from San Francisco) - RB Matt Forte (Tulane)

71. Jacksonville Jaguars (from Buffalo from Baltimore) - DB Antuan Molden (Eastern Kentucky)

72. Buffalo Bills - OLB Xavier Adibi (Virginia Tech)

73. Kansas City Chiefs (from Minnesota from Denver) - OLB Shawn Crable (Michigan)

74. Carolina Panthers - S Quintin Demps (UTEP)

75. San Francisco (from Chicago) - WR Donnie Avery (Houston)

76. Detroit Lions - DT Red Bryant (Texas A&M)

77. Cincinnati Bengals - LB Philip Wheeler (Georgia Tech)

78. New Orleans Saints - CB Charles Godfrey (Iowa)

79. Houston Texans - OT Duane Brown (Virginia Tech)

80. Philadelphia Eagles - OT Oneil Cousins (UTEP)

81. Arizona Cardinals - LB Beau Bell (UNLV)

82. Kansas City Chiefs (from Minnesota) - DT Pat Sims (Auburn)

83. Tampa Bay Buccaneers - DE Jason Jones (Eastern Michigan)

84. Washington Redskins - DE Kenny Iwebema (Iowa)

85. Tennessee Titans - DE Jeremy Thompson (Wake Forest)

86. Seattle Seahawks - OT Tony Hills (Texas)

87. Detroit Lions (from Cleveland) - OG Roy Shuening (Oregon State)

88. Pittsburgh Steelers - RB Kevin Smith (Central Florida)

89. Jacksonville Jaguars - OLB Geno Hayes (Florida State)

90. Chicago Bears (from SD) - OG Kerry Brown (Appalachian State)

91. Green Bay Packers - DT Ahtyba Rubin (Iowa State)

92. Dallas Cowboys - OG John Greco (Toledo)

93. Indianapolis Colts - OLB Ali Highsmith (LSU)

94. New England Patriots - ILB Spencer Larsen (Arizona)

95. New York Giants - WR Jerome Simpson (Coastal Carolina)

96. Washington Redskins - LB Jameel McClain (Syracuse) --Compensatory

97.  Cincinnati Bengals - OG Eric Young (Tennessee) --Compensatory

98. Atlanta Falcons - TE Martellus Bennett (Texas A&M) --Compensatory

99. Baltimore Ravens - WR Earl Bennett (Vanderbilt) --Compensatory
