5/3/08 Notes
Early on, this class appears to be extremely deep at safety,
linebacker, and offensive linemen.
As of now, we have zero Miami Hurricanes in our top 50 meaning
that the streak of Hurricanes going in the first round could very well
end in 2009. That of course hinges on the underclassmen as RB
Javarris James, LB Darryl Sharpton, and LB Spencer Atkins
declare.
The TE class is pretty deep as well as several prospects could be
top 15 War Boarder's in the coming months.
Ohio State, USC, and LSU have their fair share of prospects but
2009 may be the year of Clemson and Georgia Tech, two ACC
schools that have flown under the radar as providing very good
NFL prospects in recent years.
The 2009 class of RBs will be defined by the underclassmen but
these seniors have a lot of talent. Marlon Lucky is an I-back worth
watching in 2008 and scouts are hard-pressed to see James
Davis and whether or not he can continue his upswing as a senior.
