NFL Predictions
Every year, sports betting’s popularity is notably increasing. As sports fans are viewing the games, they are also into making bets. And when it comes to placing your bets, each person definitely wants his or her NFL predictions to be really winnable. Nobody really wants to lose so much money from making the wrong bets, right?
To ensure the accuracy of the NFL predictions which you make, you definitely must remember some important things. First and foremost, your predictions will definitely not be accurate if the yearly draft is not yet final. During the draft period, you will definitely see movements in a lot of the teams. There is always the possibility of seeing players move from one team to another and the new team will definitely affect the performance of the entire team.
Second, your predictions would definitely not be accurate if the team’s coaching team is not yet final. Remember that it is not just the players who can move from one team to another every year because there is always the possibility of this happening in the coaching staff. Any changes in the coaching staff of the various teams will definitely also affect the team’s overall performance.
Third, you must wait for all the possible changes to become final before making predictions which makes it unadvisable to base your predictions on the team’s performance in the previous season. Remember that the possible changes in the players and coaching staff could both affect the overall performance of the team. Therefore, if predictions are based on information before the changes took place, these predictions will definitely be not accurate. You can only make use of the team’s past performance in making your predictions if there are no changes in the team.
Fourth, even if you wait for all the probable changes to occur, you still need real-time data to base your predictions on. For instance, one player may get injured and won’t be able to play in the next game. And this player’s absence in the current game could definitely affect the overall performance of the team.
With all these things to consider, it would indeed be very difficult to make accurate predictions most especially if you are a newbie in all these. So, what could you do to help yourself learn to make accurate NFL predictions?
Having a sports betting system will surely solve your problem. Because the sports betting system has effective strategies, you will definitely learn how to make accurate NFL predictions. You do not have to study all the information and statistics yourself because the sports betting system would already do that for you. Plus, there will no longer be the need to wait for the finalization of the players and coaching staff since the data would already be analyzed by the sports betting system. And, analyzing real-time information will also be done by the sports betting system.
With a win rate established at 63 percent, the NFL Football Betting System is definitely the solution to making NFL predictions that are accurate. Without too much time and effort, you would still be able to make accurate NFL predictions.
Do you want to increase the accuracy of your NFL predictions. You can definitely do that if you will use the NFL Football Betting System.
The Most Enjoyable Sports Movies From The Past Decade
When it comes to sports films, there are a few things that separate the good ones from the great ones. Sure, cheesy motivational music and 80s style montages never hurt, but a truly great sports film often has elements of truth and inspiration. Over the past 10 years, we have been subject to some pretty amazing sports movies.
Here is my list of what I consider to be the best sports films released over the past 10 years.
When it comes to great movies about football from the last 2000-2009, one would be foolish not to include Disney’s Remember The Titans on their list. The true story of the first racially integrated football team stars Denzel Washington and the always great Will Patton.
Another football movie that was unbelievable (literally) is The Blind Side. This is definitely a movie worth seeing, and coming from someone who read Michael Lewis’ book of the same title, it does this incredible true story complete justice. Sandra Bullock also knocks it out of the park as the part of Leanne Tuohy.
What list of sports films from this past decade would be complete without mentioning The Wrestler. You can argue that professional wrestling is not a sport, but there is nothing fake or funny about the way the industry is portrayed in this film. This is an incredibly moving film and Mickey Rourke nails the part.
A boxing film that I thoroughly enjoyed, which I did not think would be possible, was Rocky Balboa. Stallone returns to the role that got him his own statue in the city of Philadelphia, and this film was more than enjoyable. This was Rocky at his best.
Another sports movie that I absolutely loved, and is definitely worth watching on an HD television is Riding Giants. This film tells the story of the pioneers of big wave surfing and is so visually stunning you may feel the need to get to the beach following watching it.
On a more comedic note, I really enjoyed Semi-Pro with Will Ferrell! If you are looking for a comedic sports movie to watch, it fits the bill.

Sports Picking Services – Are They Right For You?
Picking services are fantastic. What they are doing is giving you valuable insights in to what successful sports handicappers are thinking. Just think of how much money you could make if you knew how that guy in your local sportsbook cleaned up every week. Well this is the feeling you have when you employ the services of a top quality sports tipster. Unfortunately while most will find these services amazing some may find them more of a hindrence, which category do you fall into?
Who sinks when using a picking service?
There are a select number of bettors who will not benefit from using a sports picking company to make their picks for them, in fact there are some bettors who will actually lose more money when using a sports picking service. Bettors who do not use proper cash management techniques are the main people who fall into this category.
The reason behind this is because sports tipsters are not correct 100% of the time so even though they profit overall there could be stages where they trip up and have a short losing spell; if you were not employing proper cash management skills during this time you could easily blow your entire betting balance. Silly things like chasing losses and tripling up after wins would fall under inproper cash management.
So who can float with a sports picks service?
Pretty much anyone that is looking for consistent profits over a period of time will enjoy the services of a sports picking company. Also people who do lots of research into matches before they bet will enjoy having a second opinion before they finalise their bets.
Basically there is a general rule you will find on whether or not a picking service is for you:
Are you betting on sports to win money or for fun?
Tips services make profits not fun so if you are looking for fun you may wish to stick to what you are doing!

Things To Remember About Residing In Alabama
Golden principles are the ones that really apply. You want to have them in mind and do not forget them. Like stars to navigate by, they are fixed markers to direct us and keep us moving in the correct direction.
Golden rules really exist to be applied, to be followed, to guide you. No matter what your main goal is or what problem you confront, the guideline is there. Just consider the golden rule that applies and accept it…
With that in mind, I thought of life in Alabama and a number of of its unspoken “golden rules”. Here are five of the most popular “Golden Rules” that apply to living in Alabama.
Golden Rule 1 Choose Between AU or UA! (Some folks may well say it’s most significant!): You have to pick between Alabama verses Auburn. You will find that almost everyone you encounter in Alabama asks you who “you are for” in the Iron Bowl. The rivalry is sizzling, and you must pick sides. Keep in mind, if you don’t choose, folks will think you are strange. So, if nothing else, choose your favorite colors, crimson tide red for Alabama or orange & blue for the Auburn.
Golden Rule 2, You Have To Eat Grits… Grits are one of those terrific southern foods that you’ll find on the breakfast tables in Alabama. They are simply scrumptious with eggs, bacon, and homemade biscuits..
Golden Rule 3, Attend Church. The reason that this is important is because at least twice a year, Easter or Christmas, people will need to see you there. Otherwise, expect to be asked to attend on a regular basis, because everybody knows everybody, especially in a small town.
Golden Rule 4, Be Polite. Here in the south, we are not brash like Yankees. We treat neighbors like we would like to be treated. One of the ways of accomplishing this, include saying please, you’re welcome, & thank you.
Golden Rule 5, Alabama Based Music Gives You Pride! You have to love any music that has something to do with Alabama. This would certainly include every song that the country music group, Alabama recorded, especially “My Home’s In Alabama.” Also, don’t forget Lynyrd Skynyrd and “Sweet Home Alabama.” It is like a state anthem here!
Follow these golden rules to living in Alabama and you will probably find your life here much better in the heart of dixie, and you will live at peace with most Alabama folks, except maybe the fans from the other team! Personally, I am a roll tide man, myself!

Mount Cody Changed The Landscape Of College Football
One of the biggest men in college football in 2009, Terrence Cody, at 6 foot four in tall & 350 lbs, has transformed the way that colleges look at larger players. A tremendous run stopper can make a world of difference for football teams hoping to free up their linebackers.
I think that more and more we will see giant players, obviously like Terrence Cody, arriving onto the scene in college football. A huge guy at that stature in the middle of the defense playing middle guard or nosetackle is an extremely precious tool.
Now don’t misunderstand me, folks the size of Terrence Cody with his quickness do not come around every day. The NFL football team, the Baltimore Ravens discovered great potential in this big guy’s actual physical skills, size, and speed enough to draft him at number 57 in the second round of the 2010 NFL draft.
It isn’t really simply proportions that makes the difference in a lad like this,it is also the explosiveness. The fast 1st step from the line, when coupled with the leveraging of the weight, it is 100 % pure physics of mass times acceleration equals momentum… and momentum he does have!
The Baltimore Ravens saw a sizeable drop-off in it’s run defense the very first time this past year, 2009. Cedric Benson of the Cincinnati Bengals ran for the first hundred yard performance against the vaulted Ravens defense in over 39 games. Part of the reason is the soft middle of the defensive front. In 2010,the coaches of the Ravens came to the realization that they needed the big man up the middle of their defense to totally free things up and so they drafted massive “Mount Cody”.
Look for big things (no pun intended) out of Mount Cody in the NFL, as well as other massive guys doing a lot more in college football. Recruiting will heat up for these types of players given it proved successful for the Alabama Crimson Tide in earning a 2009 national championship.
So the next time you think of great defense, see if you can locate a nearby mountain and take a look at it. Your favorite college football team will almost certainly be looking for the same thing but only a bit more human!

What You Need To Know About Football And Its Effects To Children
Youngsters from all over the world love to play football. It is still one of the most popular sports and not only keeps the body healthy but the minds too. Playing football has many advantages attributed to it. It builds a sense of teamwork and keeps athletes in phenomenal, top notch physical shape.
Football is not just a relaxing sport; it takes dedication and plenty of discipline to be able to perform at a high level. Anyone who makes it to any sort of competitive level will tell you how hard they worked to get there.
The daily workout is a pivotal part of keeping a footballer fit in both body and mind. To become a professional footballer you must be fully committed and be able to handle the disciplined regime.
Footballers require a whole lot of stamina to be able to perform at the highest level all the time. They must also be able to concentrate for the entire match and beyond. The slightest lack of concentration or discipline can be the difference between winning and losing the match.
Professional footballers are the role models that young kids always look up to. This is why they should always act in a responsible manner. Football is all about working as a team and working with the right attitude and commitment. You have to prove that you are competitive but that you are also fair minded.
Carrying the right attitude is vitally important as it can have a major bearing on not only the game but on how people see you. There have been many instances of bad attitude in football that has led to players getting into trouble. Behaving like this on the pitch could make people behave the same in the real world and that is not acceptable.
Football teaches people very early on how they can handle success and failure in equal measure. This is a good trait to carry with you into life outside of football.
Schools and colleges have implemented football as an extra curricular activity because of the influence it can have on student’s lives away from the pitch.

Go To College With A Cheerleading Scholarship
A major part of a good upbringing is a decent education. Parents have diverse financial resources but they also have different means of organizing their children’s education. Some parents are better at it than others. Likewise, not all children want to become doctors or dentists, no matter what their parents would like and most of us thank God for that. Diversity is the spice of life, because luckily we are not all the same.
Paying for your child’s higher education is quite another thing. The costs of higher education never seem to drop , in spite of the fact that there is a depression and parents are being laid off. State funding is also in question. Therefore, there is a huge pressure on the grants that are available.
If you are short of the necessary amount of money to send your child to college or pay for it yourself, you will have to use your best gift to try to gain a grant from private industry. You alone know what you or your child is best at and the game is to take advantage of that talent in order to get a scholarship.
One of the kinds of scholarship that is often overlooked by the academically inclined is a cheerleading scholarship. If you can dance, if you are out-going and if you like showing off, you could get a cheerleading grant, even if you want to study pure or applied mathematics! Tangents off this variation are scholarships for gymnastics and track events.
There are four things to consider when seeking a cheerleading grant and they can all be construed to begin with the letter ‘W’, so that they are easy to remember.
First find out WHO is in charge of cheerleading in your school and if they know where you can go to get more information. If the coach in your school is not up to speed, go higher. Go over his or her head, otherwise you may miss out. If that does not work out, ask around for big local sports teams and write to the sports club directly.
Once you have the relevant information about where the clubs are, find out WHAT they require from you. A good tactic would be to look at old games and practise the moves that the cheerleaders do in those games. Once you know the cheerleading moves from previous games, you will have shown an interest in the club.
Find out whether the fund that you are applying to has restrictions on WHERE you can be educated. Will you be constrained to the USA? If you want to study English in London, that will be a problem
Find out WHEN the application has to be sent in by. In other words, what are the deadlines.
There is a lot to do if you want a ‘free education’ no matter which way you try to obtain it. The point of this piece is to make you conscious of the fact that you do not have to only go down the road of applying for academic grants or even sports grants, things like cheerleading subsidies are also out there.

San Francisco 49ers And The Legendary Joe Montana
National Football League fans are well aware of the sterling reputation of the San Francisco 49ers franchise. With five Super Bowl trophies to their credit, the team had one of the NFL’s greatest dynasties during the 1980s and early 1990s, thanks to an innovative style of offensive and great play from the quarterback position. And when we say dynasties, we mean dynasty of the highest order! Over the course of a sixteen year time frame beginning in 1984, the team won ten games or more during each season with such NFL greats as Steve Young, and Jerry Rice. For sheer star power, though, and four of those five Super Bowl wins, the great Joe Montana cannot be overlooked.
The legend under center
Joe Cool, as Montana was often called, first began play with the 49ers during the 1979 season. He would remain there until the end of the 1992 campaign, when he would be traded to the Chiefs. His style of play is best remembered for his unshakable determination to win, even when it appeared that his team was doomed to lose. Time and again, Montana would lead his team down the field during the closing moments of games in which they were trailing, and make some spectacular throw to seal a win. Well, that’s the legend anyway. The reality is that during his entire sixteen-year career, there were 31 fourth period comeback drives – many in crucial playoff situations or other big games. As time has passed, the legend of Joe the comeback kid has grown to where it now seems as though the 49ers were always coming back from a deficit. The fact is that they were too good to get behind that often!
The Super Bowl King
Of his four Lombardi trophies, the first is easily the most thrilling tale to tell. It began with an NFC title matchup versus the Cowboys in early 1982, and a six point deficit in the waning moments of the game. Montana rallied his team and marched down the field with a flurry of quick strike plays, finally finishing the drive with a touchdown pass to Dwight Clark that is now legendary. Called “the Catch”, the play is now part of NFL history, and sent the San Francisco team to that year’s Super Bowl against the Bengals – a game they ultimately won. Montana earned the Most Valuable Player of the Super Bowl award – a feat he would repeat twice more before his career was over. The greatness had begun, and the 49ers would be led by Montana back to the Super Bowl – and three more trophies – in the nineteenth Super Bowl and in the twenty third and twenty fourth.
A part of history
There is no simple way to describe Joe Montana, and time seems to have worn some of the luster from his legend. In fact, there are even some NFL commentators who refer back more to the controversy with Steve Young than to the many accomplishments the team achieved during his time there. For Joe, even his trade to Kansas City couldn’t quench his desire to win. In fact, after the trade, he simply went about his business and took the Chiefs to the AFC title game.

Texas Tech Red Raiders Football And Mike Leach
The Red Raiders football team is the representative of Texas Tech University – often referred to simply as “Tech” – in the Big Twelve Conference of the NCAAs. Football has been an integral part of the Texas Tech tradition since 1925, with varying degrees of success. Overall, the program has garnered eleven total conference championships in its history, and maintains a positive record of wins and losses. One of the brightest periods in its history occurred during the prior decade, when the Red Raiders had a winning season during each year between 2001 and 2009. Much of the team’s success during that period can be attributed to the coaching of a man who had never suited up for a football game in his life.
Coming to Tech
The fact that Leach had no college football experience as a player did make his hiring something out of the ordinary, but Texas Tech seemed nonplussed by the notion. It has been common -almost expected, in fact – that college coaches have had at least some personal experience in a college football uniform prior to entering the coaching ranks. Leach had none. He did possess ideas, however, and it was those ideas put into practice that enabled Leach to have the success that he did. His teams all believed in what he wanted them to do, and because they believed, they achieved. Leach’s first season with the team was a winning one, beginning a pattern that would be repeated throughout his tenure with the school. His years at Tech saw the team playing in a bowl game every season, with them winning five of the nine they played. Those wins gave Leach the record for Texas Tech coaches in the postseason.
His secret
When evaluating the true secret to Leach’s success as the Texas Tech coach, it is important to look at this offensive history. As an offensive coach at several schools prior to his head coaching job at Tech, Leach built a reputation for developing explosive passing offenses that could quickly put points on the board. It was his personally unique style of the spread offense, and it caught fire with many other coaches across the nation – with varying degrees of success. He also established himself as a coach who knew what it took to help a raw talent quarterback such as Tim Couch and help them develop into players who could be drafted in the NFL’s first round.
The Insight Bowl
The best example of the speed with which his Tech teams could score occurred during the Insight Bowl game of 2006. At one point in the third quarter of that game, the Minnesota Gophers enjoyed a thirty-one point lead over the Red Raiders. With the little more than a quarter left to them in the game, the Red Raiders stormed back to tie the game by the end of regulation play, then won by a field goal in overtime. That 31 point turnaround is the greatest deficit any team has ever overcome in postseason play.
None of his success or the glory achieved in moments like the Insight Bowl would prove sufficient to save Leach’s job from his own quirky nature, however. After being accused of player abuse in 2009 – and subsequently refusing to admit that he was sorry for his actions – Leach was first suspended and then terminated by Tech. His lawsuit for wrongful termination has yet to be decided.

Washington Uses Defense To Upset #3 USC
USC has won their big game against Ohio State twice in back to back years. Its the next game they have problems with. Last year, USC went on the road and lost to Oregon State immediately after defeating the Buckeyes. This year, it was the Washington Huskies who pulled the upset. The Huskies defense shut down the powerful Trojans offense, and Erik Folk kicked a 22 yard field goal with 3 seconds remaining to give Washington a 16-13 victory in Seattle. USC has now lost to an unranked team in each of the past four seasons.
College football betting enthusiasts who took the Huskies as a whopping +19 home underdog were rewarded with the outright victory. The pointspread triumph also went against Washington’s dismal ATS form in recent years”the Huskies were 8-19 ATS overall and 3-15 ATS in Pac 10 games over the past three seasons.
USC was undone by a rare display of undisciplined play, and coach Pete Carroll had nothing good to say after the game:
“We didn’t get any better from last week. I’m not doing a good enough job of making the points of how we win. We didn’t throw the ball very well today. It was obvious. We couldn’t get the ball down the field very much. We’ve rarely been in that situation.”
The Trojans played without QB Matt Barkley, who engineered the game winning drive against Ohio State last week. Barkley is nursing a sore shoulder, and his status is game to game. His backup, Aaron Corp, was held to 111 yards with no touchdowns and an interception. He gave this glum assessment of his performance:
“I felt I was prepared. I just didn’t execute.
After the contest running back Joe McNight, who scored the Trojans only touchdown, observed that superior talent can be negated by a poor effort:
“Washington wasn’t the better team. They just outplayed us. Clearly, we have superior athletes. But hard work beats athleticism any day.”
The Huskies are trying to clean up the mess left by Tyrone Willingham, and this was a step in the right direction for the program. Off of the Pac 10s first 0-12 season a year ago, the team is now under the mentorship of former BYU QB and USC offensive coordinator Steve Sarkisian who was elated with the victory:
“It’s unbelievable. It’s a great moment for our program and hopefully sends a message of where we’re headed.”
Washington running back Jake Locker, who ran for a touchdown in the first quarter, was in a state of near disbelief:
“I can’t really describe it. It’s an amazing feeling to go through what all of us have gone through and to experience what everyone wants to experience when they play college football.”
USC will try to get back on the winning track at home against Washington State next week. They’ll then head up to Northern California for a tough rivalry game against the University of California on October 3rd and then enjoy a bye week before taking to the road again to play Notre Dame. Washington will play at Stanford next weekend.
